Call of Duty mobile is quite an amazing online battle royale multiplayer game but due to its graphics and other features, many players are facing lag and high ping while playing it on their low-end devices.
According to a survey, around 55% of Call of Duty mobile players are facing lag issues whereas 20% of players are facing high ping while playing the game. These problems are declining the interest of players in playing CoD mobile.

How to Fix Lag in Call of Duty Mobile – 7 Best Methods
Here are some of the effective methods which you can try if you want to fix lag and stuttering in CoD mobile. Just implement each method correctly and then you can easily get 60 FPS in the game.
- Enable 4x MSAA
- Install GamerBox
- In-Game Settings to Boost FPS in CoD mobile
- Install Game Booster
- Uninstall Unnecessary Applications
- Clear Cache
- Disable Apps Running In The Background
You can easily reduce lag in Call of duty mobile by using these methods. Further information about each method is given below.
1. Enable 4x MSAA
By enabling this one option, you can easily optimize your call of duty mobile graphics and boost your performance. Developers had hidden this option in their settings because they don’t want users to change their Android settings related to the system.
This option is called Enable 4x MSAA which will help to improve the graphics quality of the game to look better. it will probably increase your Battery drain and might cause your device to heat up a little bit.
In most of the devices, it helps to boost up the FPS but in some devices, it does not cause an impact on the FPS. Therefore, I recommend you use the FPS counter to note your FPS before and after enabling the 4x MSAA option.
Follow these steps to Enable Developer option and enable 4x MSAA:-
- Go to your Device Settings
- Tap on About Phone mostly situated at the bottom of the screen
- Continuously Tap on Kernel-Version around 10 times
- Now, the Developer option will be visible in device settings
- If you do not find it, you can search for the option in your settings
- Click on Enable Developer Option
- Swipe down to the Force 4x MSAA section and enable it
- Restart your smartphone
- Enjoy your game

To remove unnecessary applications in your phone, follow these steps:-

I am using one plus and I am unable to find the “Force 4x MSAA” option anywhere
You have to first go in the About Phone section and press 10 times continuously Built Version for enabling developer mode. In developer mode, you will find out the “Force 4x MSAA”
The one plus mobile has already enabled by default
I experienced the same … on Galaxy Tab A
After receiving this message “Developer mode has already been enabled”. I found the setting … “Force 4X MSAA” located just below “About Tablet” in “Developer Options” after a little scrolling. I hope this helps all concerned. As I see more inquiries as of 01/01/2021
Go to about phone > build number (tap build number until it says “you’re now a developer”).
Go back to settings and search for “developer options”. Click on it and scroll to almost the end… You’d find it there

But think of if you added some great photos or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and clips, this website could undeniably be one of the very best in its niche. Very good blog!
Yes I know images place a great role in an article but my only focus was to provide some valuable information to the audience. I will add some best images in the future. Thanks for the compliment.

Someone suggested that in developer settings, you can reduce animation scale to. 5x etc, is it necessary to do or whatever you have suggested is ok
No, it’s not necessary rather it will cause the animation effect of your phone to low or high scale which disturb phone animation settings.
Hi, I believe he’s talking about the aninationn scale of app and operations… reducing them all or turning them off will indeed help free up unneccessary RAM usage by the phones OS
Can you name few best game boosters for cod mobile pls
The problem is still persisting. It seems whenever other players move within my range especially in battle royale I am hit with server connection issues.
Check your network connection speed.
I did. It is fine but the problem mostly happens when I bump into other players especially in battle royale. I have played Pubg and they don’t have this much server connection issues.
Your issue has been mentioned by PUBG mobile players as well, I’ve yet to figure out the cause in this.. I myself had no lag issues with COD mobile until I had to reset my phone… now it lags on every mode very badly… I’ve tried everything In Game settings wise and got a lot of improvement by deleting the game, and whipping the cache the reinstalling (weird because I had reset my phone right?) But I still have lag issues in Zombies, but multiplayer and BR both went smooth… I’m hoping the 7 things I seen here may help… I will post an update.
useful for iP users…
Multisampling is a high performing technology that smoothens screen resolution, not texture resolution. Plus it causes lag since it requires high CPU usage… Please stop spreading fake information. Modify your article.
Buddy, I think you need to check on the web that enabling 4x MSAA will cause a little boost in the gaming performance. Especially in those games that renders lots. The option helps to improve the graphics quality of the game. You can check out Fossbytes post which is one of the reputable websites on the Internet. (FossBytes Post Link)
Thanks buddy, have changed the setting as per your advice here. Let me check how it works. Hopefully, it will work fine.
It works really well. Can you please suggest a good Game booster? In Poco X3 (my previous phone there was TURBO BOOST (A very good game booster) Now using a different phone.
This was actually really helpful for just managing the apps on my devices. The COD Season 8 update caused a massive frame drop for me. I got around 40 – 60 FPS before, after the update I’m getting only 20 -30. Really sucks. is anyone else here having a lot of trouble with one-tap (or normal?) ADS recently?? it seems to stall out, often times when I move my finger after it recoils it won’t actually move in the direction I drag, and it cost me a lot of games
